The new construction of a luxury, modern, single-family retreat located on a wooded island property presented a unique opportunity to collaborate with a local developer to create a bold, stealthy, sustainable home.
Featuring a zinc roof, stained cedar siding, and ipe decking, the minimalist architecture centers around an elevated outdoor living space and pool. The distinct gabled structures are connected by flat roof circulation spaces and fluid indoor-outdoor spaces.
The warm, contemporary, white oak interiors are punctuated by distinct elements such as the cast-in-place fireplace, privacy louvers. picture frame windows and full-height glass.
